CST is a light touch therapy shown to be effective in supporting the Central Nervous System so that your child’s body can self-correct and heal naturally. Restrictions in the CNS can cause a wide range of motor, sensory, or neurological issues.

As the control center for the body, the CNS influences every other major body system and function. By supporting the CNS and releasing restrictions throughout the body, CST has shown to aid in healing. Children of all ages can benefit from this therapy due to it’s gentle, non-invasive, and virtually risk-free nature.

What to expect during a Craniosacral Therapy Treatment:

A typical CST session is performed in a quiet setting with the baby or child resting at ease lying face-up on a massage table – some older children may even engage in quiet play. A variety of positional adjustments may be made for babies to ensure comfort and relaxation, such as being held.

Using light touch (generally no more than the weight of a nickel) the therapist connects with the fluid flowing around the CNS to detect any potential problems. Much like our heart beat or our breath this fluid has a natural rhythm that is unique to each individual child. Delicate hands-on techniques are then used to release and “unwind” the soft tissues and any areas of tension that may be affecting your child’s health.

With intent and focus the therapist assists the child’s body in engaging with the Parasympathetic Nervous System (also known as “rest and digest”) where true healing can occur.

For Adults:

For Newborns/Infants:

CST is a wonderful gentle therapy for multiples, pre-term babies, and NICU babies, too.

"I cannot adequately express how valuable this service is. Cori is incredible! The results were almost immediate. Little Henry needed work to improve his suck and ultimately speed up weight gain. His latch is WAY better, night and day, and he was able to put on the weight he needed to. Cori is like the baby whisperer, and I would recommend her services to anyone with a new baby!"

"We went in wanting to see what Craniosacral was all about. Cori did a great job of helping us understand what the therapy was and how it worked. It has helped with my baby's jaw movement, shoulder/head relaxation. We couldn't have made the progress we did without her help. LOVE it/her!"
